Aviva Drescher is still claiming that she has not been fired from The Real Housewives of New York City.
Despite Drescher being absent for a number of episodes of the show's currently airing sixth season and being removed from the opening credits, Drescher says Bravo has absolutely not fired her.
"Nobody ever knows for the next season what's going to happen until after the reunion," Drescher told amNewYork of the casting for the upcoming, but yet-to-be-confirmed, season of The Real Housewives of New York City.
Earlier this month, it was reported that because Drescher refused to film during a cast trip to The Berkshires, Bravo had opted to get rid of her. However, Drescher claimed to have only sat out because of the physical limitations that not having a leg presents.
"I'm going to be on the rest of the season. ... But if they do ever fire me, it's not something I would get depressed about," Drescher added. "I could live with that."

Yeah right. I dont think this is a show that Aviva should be on. So many freakin phobias!! Her poor husband and children!!! Uggg.
ReplyDeleteCould they look into possibly firing her father? He's soooooooooooooooo freakin' creepy and almost makes me not want to watch the episodes he's in. At the very least, they should preempt a warning in advance of the episode that a pedophile-like weirdo will be appearing and saying sexually vile and disgusting things to his daughter and her friends.
